Rachamankha

Located in the centre of the old moated city of Chiang Mai, Northern Thailand and just 2.6km from the airport is Rachamankha, renowned for its incredible architecture that pays homage to Chiang Mai's golden age of the Lanna period.

Rachamankha offers 22 rooms and 2 suites.  The décor is simple and elegant with extraordinary attention to detail.  Each individually decorated room offers guests every amenity they would expect, from beautiful furnishings to antiques collected from Europe, China, Burma and of course, Thailand. 

 

COURTYARD SUPERIOR ROOMS

GRAND DELUXE ROOMS

Beautifully appointed rooms of 40sqm with a canopied king size bed.  There are 4 Deluxe ensuite rooms and each is individually decorated with art and antiques. 

CLASSIC SUITES

THE RESTAURANTS

There are two dining locations to select from;  the air-conditioned dining room which is light, bright and airy, decorated with 18th and 19th Century Thai art or The Courtyard with shady trees and decorated with fresh flowers throughout the year.  This is a delightful space to dine al fresco, whether on a cool Chiang Mai morning with the open fire crackling away, or a warm sunny afternoon under the shade of the trees, or under the stars on a balmy Chiang Mai evening.  Both Restaurants feature a unique selection of dishes from Lanna, Myanmar, Tai-Yai and Thailand and also offer Western and Fusion dishes.  These is a wide selection of both old and new world wines available from a comprehensive wine list.

THE SPA

Relax, unwind, be pampered in the beautiful Spa at Rachamankha.  This is located in the cool and serene poolside Pool Pavilion.  The wonderfully trained staff offer a range of massage treatments.

MEETINGS

The Gallery at Rachamankha, located immediately above the restaurant dining room, is 62sqm of space with wall displays of the owners' collection or regional antiques, including silverware, lacquerware and swords.  This room can also be used to host meetings and seminars of approximately 30 delegates set in boardroom style seating arrangements.  A perfect private venue where to conduct business.  Audio/visual equipment, direct dial phone and WiFi are available.

OTHER FACILITIES

Guests can laze by the  stunning 20 x 8 metre freshwater Swimming Pool that is surrounded by day-beds and umbrellas.  There is also a well stocked Library, with books in a variety of languages, daily papers, periodicals and computers for guests' free use. Complimentary WiFi is available also.  The stylish Boutique showcases a lovely selection of locally sourced and chic fashion products as well as giftware.   Tours can be arranged for guests, as can shopping and market trips.   Over 70% of the Staff at Rachamankha have been with the Hotel since opening in 2004 and are all very familiar with Chiang Mai and its surrounds.
